Who we are

About PreVettedAI

PreVettedAI is the productized arm of Density Labs, a 10-year engineering partnership that built the muscle for hiring great LATAM engineers because we needed it ourselves — and stayed in those partnerships long enough to learn what makes them last.

Mission

Make hiring great engineers feel less like a slog and more like a Monday.

We hand engineering managers a vetted bench, a sane process, and a single monthly bill, so the part of the job they hate stops being the part they spend the most time on.

Vision

Be the default place North-American engineering teams go when they need to add a great engineer this quarter.

The founder

Federico Ramallo.

Federico shipped his first line of production code at 15 and was hired by Microsoft Argentina at 16. He founded Density Labs in 2016 and has been running cross-border engineering partnerships for a decade — most of them still running today.

He hosts the PreVetted Podcast (150+ conversations with VPs of Engineering, CTOs, and operators on what actually works when teams are spread across borders) and is writing The Invisible Distance — a field manual for engineering leaders running distributed teams, out Q3 2026.

PreVettedAI is what happens when a decade of partnership work meets a 14-day clock. Same standard, more people who get to benefit from it.

Why we built this

For engineers: help more LATAM engineers level up by working with US teams that stretch them.

For managers: cut six months of bad hiring funnels down to two weeks of good ones.

What we believe

01

Trust is built in DMs, not slide decks

Open, candid communication beats curated polish, internally and with clients.

02

Agility means smaller batches

We ship in days. We change direction in hours. We don't run quarterly steering committees.

03

Proactivity over permission

If you can see a problem, you can fix it. Bias toward action, ask forgiveness later.

04

Experience compounds

Every hire brings a perspective the room didn't have. Our job is to surface it, not flatten it.

05

Happy people ship more

Burnout-driven productivity is borrowed. We don't want a loan we can't repay.
